As they play the game, players will gradually get stronger everyday, before they can finally challenge the hardest difficulty. Should they fail it, then players will need to plan and strategize accordingly to the opponent’s weakness. Players start off by challenging the beginner quest. Izumi: We create a quest with the ‘motto’ of “ challenging foe” and “ difficult opponent”. Do you plan to maintain this level of difficulty in the future? GB:Currently, we feel that a few of the quests are too hard, especially the advanced Rathalos quest. Getting our iconic ol’ buddy still needs a little work. There will be more unique riders making an appearance in the game, so please look forward to it. Izumi: Depending on the characters, giving them a voice can add more depth to their overall personality. GB: There are many characters in the game, with a lot of them not voiced. Izumi: Currently, we are planning to add 3 to 4 monsters every month. GB:Currently, there are only so few recruitable monsters/monsties. We hope that players can enjoy the game with this in mind. In this setting, the weapons and armours then become a significant part of a rider’s character. As with Halcyon’s Lagiacrus armour, from a story-telling perspective, it actually tells a part of a rider’s story. Izumi: Every rider has their own reason or story in wielding and wearing their weapons and armours. GB: Being able to switch armours and weapons is a norm for the Monster Hunter series.
